Built from a rich story world, Bound by Flame is a video game adaptation of the thrilling narrative reimagined as a single-player or co-op sidescroller RPG in the classic 8-Bit style of the past!

With strategic combat, a colourful cast of characters and an expansive fantasy terrain to explore, there is something for everyone in this quirky, yet nostalgic game.

The target release date is early 2024, launching on PC with ports to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch coming in the future. In the meantime, you can try our trial demo to get a taste of what the game is like!

In a fantasy world, Garett —a grizzled, lone-wolf bounty hunter— is forced to overcome his differences with others and unite humanoids of all different races when an ancient evil arises with ambitions of turning everyone into monstrous creatures of her own kind. 

With monsters on the loose and the fate of every being at stake, you must help Garett traverse a troubled and divided world to gain allies with the end goal of taking down the sinister Bogmother. Will you be able to defeat this ancient evil and establish peace, or will it all be lost forever?

With every new level, comes a new area and its inner details of the Bound by World flame to explore. Spanning from the highly populate community squares and grimy tavern halls of the town Slatia, to the dense and foliated forests of Evenborough Woods, you will have the opportunity to see the places and people that make up these lands.

Although even more areas await you beyond, these are some environments you can expect so see!

Throughout the story of Bound by Flame, players will encounter a variety of different characters from allies to villains and even just your occasional wanderer! Each individual has their own distinct personality, motivation and traits, and you will have the chance to see how everything will unfold.
